This Privacy Policy explains what information RelightX collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using RelightX, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — your email address and authentication details when you sign up or log in.
• Your content — source videos, reference images, text prompts, and generated outputs you upload or create in the workspace.
• Usage data — generation history, credit balance and usage, and plan information associated with your account.
• Billing information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by our payment processor; we do not store your full card details on our servers.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating your relit videos and images
• Authenticate your account and keep your generation history in sync across sessions
• Track and enforce credit usage and plan limits
• Communicate with you about your account, billing, or changes to the Service
• Monitor, secure, and improve the reliability of the Service

To generate a relit video or reference image, your source video, reference image, and/or prompt are sent to the third-party AI infrastructure providers we use to run our generation models. Your uploads and outputs are stored in our cloud storage provider under access controls scoped to your account, and are retained until you delete them or close your account.

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the Service, including our authentication and storage provider and our AI model infrastructure provider. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually restricted from using it for any purpose other than providing services to us.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain your session. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

We also use a privacy-focused product analytics provider to understand how the Service is used — which pages are visited, and events such as starting a generation or upgrading a plan — so that we can improve it. This uses a cookie to recognise a returning browser. We do not send your uploads, outputs, or prompt text to this provider, and analytics data is not used for advertising.

We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual generations or your entire account at any time; deleting your account removes your stored content and personal information, except where we are required to retain records for legal or accounting purposes.

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls scoped to your account, to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
